Generativity

As someone who is interested in art and psychology, I am always seeking a way to combine the two. I am fascinated with the process of human development through growth and change over time. Internal and external experiences shape each of our lives. Memory and story often have a great affect on the individual and future generations. Through this body of work I seek to cherish and share peoples’ individual narratives. Each person tells a different story that can be seen through their expression, wrinkles, and demeanors. Through the format of diptychs, one photograph represents the person as a whole, while the other takes a closer look to show the beauties and intricacies of their life.
